The hotel staff was some of the best I’ve ever met - helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Even the cleaning personnel spoke fluent English. There were lots of animations organized for the guests. The hotel is near a supermarket and a pharmacy.

The location was great. Right on the beach and a nice little boardwalk. A park up the street for kids to play at as well. The kids club was great for the kids as well. Staff was amazing and super helpful

The resort was very well maintained and staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating particularly to my wife who was disabled. The entire resort is wheelchair accessible. A good variety of food with a different theme every night in the main restaurant. There were two alternative restaurants with a la carte menus which were excellent with more traditional Portuguese cuisine.

If I could give this hotel a rating of 20/10 I would. Everything was exceptional. Every single member of staff was amazing and so so friendly and helpful. The place was spotless. Facilities were great. We had a rental car dropped to the door for us. The vegetarian options every day at every meal were delicious and plentiful I have never been so spoiled for choice! We literally cannot wait to return. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip. It was our first family trip with our almost 1 year old. We hope to see you all again soon. Also if you want a tasty drink off menu ask for Luis you won't regret it.

Overall the hotel is situated in a nice location, perfect to explore the western part of the island. The facilities are well-maintained and the staff is very nice and helpful. The room was nice and spacious, cleaning was done daily.

- [ ] Amazing staff especially Christina Aubreu. Everyone friendly and helpful. - [ ] Excelent location : pool ( good size) and access to the beach ( nice and pretty warm water) Beach is public but nobody bothers you. You can leave your stuff inside the hotel compound, take the card key and use the beach 2 min away. - [ ] Comfortable rooms - [ ] Bidet! - [ ] Pretty good entertainment program ( especially the folkloric ensemble who involved the guests too in their dances) - [ ] Entertainment ends at 10:30 so it is completely quiet after that. - [ ] Animation team very enthusiastic and offering quite a variety of activities. - [ ] We liked the food at the buffet. ( and the staff!) - [ ] Very, very clean ( again amazing staff) - [ ] Bottle of champagne for my birthday.

We loved the location and the food. The room was very comfortable for a family as it had the kitchenette and a supermarket just outside the building. The swimming pools were beautiful and clean and the sea was just across the walking path. The all inclusive was a real one without hidden prices and the restaurants had great variety every day with themed dinners. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The animation was present but discreet and our daughter had the chance to enjoy cookies cooking one day in the playroom. We loved it and would love to go back.

All meals were varied, fresh and tasty. Every day the main buffet changed. There were Brazilian, Mdersian, Asian and other dishes Finally, I had an adventure that is worth describing because it is unique. As I was getting a cab to the airport, the cab driver's phone rang. It turned out that it was a call from an employee at the hotel's front desk with the information that I had left my cell phone in my room. I was a little frightened, because in the phone there is a bank, hundreds of contacts, photos and other important, things (unrecoverable) and plane tickets. We agreed , the hotel employee will hire a new cab to deliver the phone to the airport. And in 40 minutes I already had the phone in my pocket, it turned out that I also left a book. This uncharacteristic action of hotel employees showing care for their guests is unusual and I am very grateful for this help

My husband and I booked a sea view room direct via booking.com. We liked the free private transfer to the hotel, it took around 50 minutes. Hotel staff were very friendly on arrival and very informative and happy to help. Our room was spacious and clean with a fantastic view. We were on the 5th floor room no 510 overlooking the pool area and on to the beach. The buffet food was as expected from a buffet. We were able to book lunch and dinner in the A la carte restaurant for the duration of our stay (5 nights) if they had available. We had lunch and dinner on 2 of the days, all very nice, lovely décor and atmosphere. There are a handful of restaurants next to the hotel in the marina area if you wish to eat out. We had lunch and dinner in one of the restaurants, very nice and welcoming. There is a supermarket and a chemist directly opposite the hotel for any supplies you may need. There is a hotel bus that takes you to Funchal centre for 30 euros each return, We booked the bus one way to Fenchal on our last day to do some sight seeing and then took aa taxi to the airport later that day for a further 35 euros. We had a very relaxing holiday with no issues at all. Just what we wanted. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
